For a while now, I’ve been wanting to add forecasting support to my python-weka-wrapper3 library. Problem was that I was so busy with work and also other projects in my spare time, that I just didn’t find the time to sit down and wrap my head around the timeseriesForecasting Weka package that Mark Hall wrote (and maintains). Especially, since I personally don’t do any timeseries forecasting.
Well, being on holiday helps and I managed to write wrappers for a bunch of the important classes that this package provides to allow building, using and also evaluating forecasters. A few minutes ago, I pushed out a new release that includes this new weka.timeseries module: 0.2.0

Now I can move on to my other projects that have been on the back-burner for a while. 😉
