I haven’t been maintaining my fork of the vfsjfilechooser2 project for quite a number of years now. Hence my surprise that somebody opened an issue regarding a ReDS (Regular expression Denial of Service) in the VFSURIValidator class. Thankfully, Yeting Li also proposed a fix and I incorporated it. I also noticed, that handling of special characters in passwords was done incorrectly. URL encoded special characters now get decoded correctly as well.
