Anyway, it’s nice to see WEKA finally getting some recognition at home as well (ie at university). The software has only been around since 1993 (and since 1997 in a Java-based version). For some reason, WEKA seems to be more well-known abroad that at university…
For my involvement, that has been a bit on the decline after my days of maintainer (2005-2007) were over and ADAMS (and derived projects) became my priority. But later on, I introduced Maven build support for WEKA and its packages. Openhub.net has an overview of my contributions:
